The information below is provided to help guests understand the general stay policies of Remvi Karpathos.
Reservations are handled through the official booking platform or channel used by the guest. The final reservation terms, cancellation policy, payment conditions, fees, and platform service charges are those displayed during the booking process on the relevant platform.
In case of any difference between the information on this website and the terms shown on the booking platform, the platform terms apply to that reservation.
The minimum stay is usually three (3) nights, unless otherwise stated on the booking platform for specific dates, offers, availability gaps, or seasonal periods.
Minimum-stay requirements may vary depending on season, availability, and booking conditions.
Cancellation terms depend on the booking platform, rate plan, and reservation conditions selected by the guest at the time of booking.
Guests should carefully review the cancellation policy shown before completing their reservation.
Some reservations may be refundable within a specific period, while others may be non-refundable, depending on the selected rate and platform conditions.
In case of cancellation, no-show, early departure, or request to change dates, the terms shown on the booking platform at the time of reservation apply.
Requests to change reservation dates, number of guests, apartment type, or length of stay are subject to availability and to the conditions of the booking platform used for the reservation.
Guests should submit change requests through the same platform or channel where the reservation was made.
The Greek Climate Crisis Resilience Fee is not included in the room rate and is payable separately by the guest, as required by Greek law.
For short-term rental accommodation, the applicable fee is currently:
€8 per night from April to October
€2 per night from November to March
The fee is applied per apartment, per night, and may change according to Greek legislation. The applicable amount will be based on the official rate in force at the time of stay.
AADE states that the Climate Crisis Resilience Fee is handled through monthly declarations, while 2025 legislation increased the daily fee for short-term rentals to €8 during April to October and €2 during the winter months.

Guests are kindly asked to inform Remvi Karpathos in advance of their expected arrival time.
Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and must be confirmed in advance. Additional charges may apply depending on the booking platform or reservation conditions.
Guests expecting to arrive after 23:00 should contact the property in advance so that suitable arrangements can be discussed.
Guests must provide a valid phone number when making a reservation.
Guest address details are not required at the time of booking, unless needed for legal, tax, payment, platform, or communication purposes.
Remvi Karpathos may request identification details before or during check-in where required for legal, tax, security, or accommodation registration purposes.
Only the guests included in the confirmed reservation are allowed to stay overnight at the property.
The maximum occupancy of each apartment must not be exceeded.
Additional guests or visitors must be approved by Remvi Karpathos in advance. Additional charges may apply depending on the booking conditions.
Children under 12 years of age stay free of charge when using the existing beds.
Extra beds are subject to availability and must be confirmed by Remvi Karpathos in advance. Additional charges may apply.
Guests travelling with children are responsible for their supervision and safety during the stay.
Smoking is not allowed inside the apartments or in the indoor common areas of the building.
Smoking is allowed only in outdoor areas, such as balconies, provided that guests respect the property, other guests, and fire safety rules.
Guests may be charged for additional cleaning, deodorising, or damage if smoking takes place inside the apartment.
Wi-Fi is available in all apartments and common areas and is provided free of charge.
Remvi Karpathos makes reasonable efforts to provide reliable internet access, but temporary interruptions may occur due to technical issues, local network conditions, or service provider outages.
Private parking is not available at the property.
Guests may use nearby public parking areas. A public parking area is located approximately 100 meters from the building.
Parking availability is not guaranteed and may vary depending on season, time of day, and local demand.
Pets are not allowed.
Guests who arrive with a pet without prior written approval may be refused check-in or asked to make alternative arrangements. In such cases, cancellation or refund requests are not guaranteed.
Breakfast is not provided.
The apartments are self-catering. Guests can find cafés, bakeries, restaurants, supermarkets, and shops in Pigadia.
The apartment is prepared before arrival with clean linen and towels.
Guests are expected to use the apartment respectfully and keep it in reasonable condition during their stay.
Additional cleaning, linen, or towel changes may be available upon request and may be subject to an extra charge.
Towels provided by the property should not be used as beach towels, unless specifically stated otherwise.
Guests are responsible for the apartment, furniture, appliances, keys, access devices, and any equipment provided during their stay.
Any damage, loss, breakage, or malfunction should be reported to Remvi Karpathos as soon as possible.
Guests may be charged for damage, missing items, excessive cleaning, lost keys, or misuse of the apartment or building facilities.
Guests are asked to respect other residents, guests, and neighbours.
Quiet hours should be observed, especially during late evening, night, and early morning hours.
Parties, events, loud music, and disruptive behaviour are not allowed.
Remvi Karpathos reserves the right to take appropriate action if guest behaviour causes disturbance, damage, safety concerns, or complaints.
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings during their stay.
Remvi Karpathos is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal items, unless caused by proven fault of the property.
Guests should lock the apartment door and close windows or balcony doors when leaving the apartment.
If maintenance or urgent repairs are required during a stay, Remvi Karpathos will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
In case of urgent maintenance, safety concerns, or emergency situations, property representatives may need to access the apartment. Whenever possible, guests will be informed in advance.
Remvi Karpathos is not responsible for cancellations, changes, interruptions, or failure to provide services caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
Such events may include, but are not limited to, extreme weather, natural disasters, fire, strikes, government restrictions, power outages, water supply issues, transport disruptions, public health measures, or other unforeseen circumstances.
In such cases, Remvi Karpathos will make reasonable efforts to assist the guest, but refunds or compensation are not guaranteed unless required by applicable law or by the confirmed reservation terms.
For reservations made through Airbnb, Booking.com, or any other third-party platform, the terms displayed on that platform at the time of booking apply.
This includes cancellation conditions, payment terms, service fees, guest verification, damage procedures, and platform-specific policies.
In case of conflict between this website policy and the policy shown on the platform, the platform policy applies to that reservation.
Remvi Karpathos may update these policies from time to time.
The policy applicable to each reservation is the one communicated or displayed at the time the reservation is confirmed, unless changes are required by law.
